Embryos Partners with Integral for Expansion

Integral Capital Group, formerly known as Integral Venture Partners, has successfully acquired a majority stake in Embryos, a leading Romanian in-vitro fertilization clinic. The acquisition involves a secondary purchase of shares from the clinic's founding doctors, who will maintain minority shareholder positions while remaining active in the business. With Integral's backing, Embryos aims to enhance its market position in Romania through the expansion of its existing clinic in Bucharest and potential new locations in other Romanian cities. Embryos will serve as the core of Integral’s broader strategy to build a pan-regional IVF platform by consolidating similar entities across neighboring markets. Founded in 2018, Embryos specializes in assisted reproductive technologies and operates a state-of-the-art clinic providing a wide range of fertility treatments. This acquisition is the first made from Integral’s second fund, Evolving Europe Principal Investments Fund II, underscoring its focus on the Romanian healthcare sector and the development of medium-sized companies across Central and South-Eastern Europe.
