Elizabeth Wampler Named New Executive Director of LISC Bay Area

Elizabeth Wampler has been appointed as the executive director of LISC Bay Area, a division within the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), a prominent community investment organization. With two decades of experience, Wampler has been instrumental in promoting community-driven development, particularly in underserved communities. LISC Bay Area has a significant legacy of investing $1.9 billion to bolster sectors such as affordable housing, small businesses, health, community safety, and employment across the Bay Area. In her previous roles, she expanded the Faith and Housing Program to support faith-based and community entities and has deepened efforts in housing preservation and community ownership. Wampler's track record includes leadership at the Great Communities Collaborative and a venture in transit-oriented development strategy. Her academic background includes degrees from the University of Chicago and the University of California, Berkeley.
