Wasned operates a modern facility near Utrecht and employs approximately 40 people, primarily serving the hospitality sector. This strategic acquisition follows Elis's purchase of Moderna in February 2024 and aims to strengthen Elis's network in the dynamic Dutch market. The current management team of Wasned will remain to help grow the business. In 2023, Wasned reported a revenue of around 7 million euros. The acquisition will be consolidated into Elis's financials starting November 1, 2024.
