These plants, along with others previously acquired in Italy, are set to be converted into advanced biomethane production facilities using agricultural mass. EY played a pivotal role in this acquisition by providing multidisciplinary advisory support, spearheaded by senior advisor Massimo Giaconia. The strategic move is part of Elevion Group's overarching plan to increase their portfolio in the region and enhance their biomethane production to 5,400 standard cubic meters per hour by 2026. The transaction was made with Piergiorgio Scarani, who will also join as a minority shareholder. This acquisition underscores the company's commitment to fostering a circular economy and industrial sector development by significantly reducing fossil gas emissions.
