Ecotricity's Heckington Fen Solar Park Gets Green Light with TLT's Support

Ecotricity has achieved a major milestone with the granting of planning consent for its Heckington Fen Energy Park, a substantial 500MW solar farm with battery storage in Lincolnshire. Key to this achievement was the expertise provided by national law firm TLT, which advised on the real estate aspects of the Development Consent Order (DCO) and supported the land assembly process for over five years. Situated in Lincolnshire, this solar park will significantly contribute to the UK government's renewable energy goals by powering over 100,000 homes with its 500MW capacity and 400MW storage capabilities. The collaboration marks a significant moment in the 19-year partnership between TLT and Ecotricity, furthering the commitment to renewable energy. Additionally, Osborne Clarke advised on the DCO consent aspects.
