The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has made a significant stride towards enhancing digital transformation in the Western Balkans by granting a EUR 10 million loan to Raiffeisen Bank Serbia. This loan, provided under the Financial Intermediaries Framework and part of the 'Go Digital in the Western Balkans Program', aims to elevate the competitiveness of the private sector through strategic investments. The funds will particularly benefit small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), facilitating their transition to a green economy and boosting their trade potential by enabling access to finance for aligning with EU standards.
