DunPort Capital Management Secures £90m Commitment from British Business Bank

British Business Bank has increased its commitment to DunPort Capital Management's Alder Corporate Credit DAC fund, bringing the total commitment to £90 million. This represents a £40 million increase over the original fund amount announced in May 2024. DunPort, which specializes in providing flexible debt capital to businesses in Ireland, the UK, and Benelux, manages the Alder vehicle to support lower mid-market companies in the UK. Since April 2024, Alder has invested £24 million in five portfolio companies. In addition to Alder, DunPort manages Oak Corporate Credit DAC and Willow Corporate Credit DAC, with investors such as the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund and the European Investment Fund. DunPort sees the UK as a key market with high demand for debt solutions, commented Pat Walsh, Executive Director of DunPort.
