Dubai has launched a large-scale initiative to allocate 1.46 million square meters of land for the development of 17,080 affordable housing units as part of a drive to enhance the city’s housing options in line with its Affordable Housing Policy. The initiative, overseen by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is geared towards skilled professionals and seeks to foster vibrant communities, support economic growth, and enhance access to essential services. This project is a crucial part of Dubai's strategic vision to become a global hub by nurturing opportunities and fostering a diverse community. The initiative will be implemented across six sites and is part of the broader Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan.
