Investment manager Downing Ventures has made a strategic move to expand its Private Equity team with the appointment of Fei Xie as an Associate Director. In her new position, Xie will be influential in originating, evaluating, and executing deals, along with managing the portfolio, strengthening Downing's PE growth strategy. She brings extensive experience from her previous roles at Elevation Capital Advisors and Patron Capital, focusing on healthcare investments. A qualified chartered accountant with a degree from KPMG and an MBA from INSEAD, Xie's addition to the team underscores Downing's emphasis on healthcare investment. Mark Gross, Head of Private Equity at Downing, remarked on her ability to contribute substantially to the team's expansion.
