Different Dog raises £10m to revolutionize canine nutrition

Different Dog, a premium fresh dog food subscription service, has secured a £10 million investment to expand its operations and cater to the increasing demand for high-quality pet nutrition. Founded in 2017 in Shropshire by Charlie and Alex Thurstan, the company was established in response to the prevalence of mass-produced, processed pet foods. The injection of funds will facilitate Different Dog's move to a new state-of-the-art facility in Telford, increase its production capacity, and bolster its marketing efforts to expand its customer base. Different Dog has rapidly grown since its inception, now providing hand-cooked meals for over 18,000 dogs and employing more than 100 people. The investment follows five consecutive years of doubling revenues annually. James Connelly, from Charlie Oscar Group, which significantly supports Different Dog, expressed excitement over supporting the company's expansion as it seeks to meet the growing demand for healthier, more nutritious pet food options.
