Baker McKenzie has counseled Dertour Group on its acquisition of Hotelplan Group, excluding Interhome, which will be acquired by HomeToGo Group. The deal is contingent on antitrust approvals and is set to bolster Dertour Group’s position in the Swiss, UK, and German markets. This move involves the transfer of four out of the five business units from Hotelplan Group, which is specialized in leisure and business travel. The seller, Migros, is a notable Swiss retail entity. Legal advice to Dertour Group was led by Baker McKenzie’s partner Andreas Traugott and Of Counsel Anita Lukaschek, with international support from offices in Zurich, Duesseldorf, Munich, London, and Brussels.
