DEKOM: VR Equitypartner & SüdBG Secure Majority Stake in International AV Integrator

In a significant transaction, VR Equitypartner and SüdBG have jointly acquired a majority stake in DEKOM AG, a prominent IT company specializing in audiovisual conference and collaboration solutions. This move sees DEKOM's CEO Simon Harke continuing his leadership role and securing a significant investment stake alongside other key managers. DEKOM AG, with its headquarters in Hamburg, operates as an AV integrator with a global presence, boasting over 25 years in the industry, more than 200 employees, and a client base exceeding 6,000. Its operations span Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, and the U.S. VR Equitypartner (VREP), part of DZ BANK, alongside SüdBG, part of Landesbank Baden-Wrttemberg, are no strangers to supporting mid-sized companies with strategic financial solutions. The legal advisory role for VR Equitypartner and SüdBG was handled by Orrick and Swiss law firm Advoro, ensuring compliance across all jurisdictions involved.
