The Swiss law firm Advoro has facilitated the acquisition of a majority stake in Dekom, a provider of audiovisual conference collaboration solutions, by private equity firms Süd Beteiligungen and VR Equitypartner. Dekom, with a workforce of over 200 and a customer base of 6000, operates out of Germany with additional locations in Switzerland, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, and the USA. The strategic acquisition aims at enhancing Dekom's presence in the European market for audio and video technology, with a focus on emerging trends such as ESG and AI to unlock new growth markets. This acquisition is pending antitrust approval.
