DeepRoute.ai Secures $100M in Series C1 Funding

DeepRoute.ai, based in Shenzhen, China, has announced its successful strategic Series C1 funding round, raising $100 million from a prestigious Chinese automobile manufacturer. This influx of capital will support DeepRoute.ai's ongoing R&D of their DeepRoute IO platform—an intelligent driving solution—and bolster partnerships with automakers worldwide. Additionally, the funds will explore future robotaxi business ventures and enhance AI talent recruitment. Since August, DeepRoute.ai has delivered approximately 20,000 vehicles equipped with DeepRoute IO to its customers and plans to release over 10 new series models in partnership with OEM clients next year. The company is pioneering a new generation of the DeepRoute IO, which incorporates advanced visual and action-oriented language models. CEO Maxwell Zhou expressed confidence in fully autonomous driving, emphasizing the company's role in the next era of AI. The upcoming transition to fully autonomous robotaxis will make the service more scalable and cost-effective compared to traditional systems, benefiting residents globally.
