Debbie Weinstein takes the helm at Google EMEA

Debbie Weinstein, an experienced leader within Google's structure, has been appointed as the new president for the EMEA region. Her focus will be on leveraging AI to foster growth across the region consisting of 29,000 employees over 56 offices. Having joined Google in 2014 after roles at Unilever and Viacom, Weinstein has been instrumental while holding significant roles in global advertising solutions. Weinstein's academic credentials include an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Brown University. She highlights the immense potential of AI's contribution to economic growth, with a report suggesting generative AI could boost the EU's GDP by up to 8% over a decade. Weinstein replaces Matt Brittin, who left earlier this year, marking a new chapter for Google's engagement in AI-driven initiatives within EMEA.
