DCC Divests Info Tech Business to AURELIUS

In a strategic move to streamline its operations and focus on its core energy business, DCC plc has announced the divestment of its Info Tech business in the UK and Ireland to AURELIUS. The transaction, handled by legal advisor Hogan Lovells, is valued at an enterprise value of approximately £100 million and is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of this calendar year, subject to regulatory approvals. This sale is part of DCC's broader strategy of simplifying its business model and follows the recent divestiture of its Healthcare segment. The Info Tech business, which recently recorded annual revenues of £2 billion, represented only about 1% of the company's operating profit. With this transaction, DCC aims to reinforce its position as a leading energy solutions provider, enhancing focus on its Pro Tech business primarily based in North America.
