Dale Expands with Calibre Acquisition on its 90th Anniversary

Dale Power Solutions has acquired Calibre Power Electronics, a long-standing business partner based in Aberdeen. Founded by Jagdesh Rana, Calibre specializes in UPS replacement and maintenance services for the oil and gas industry. Under the leadership of Managing Director Laura Anisha Rana, Calibre has become integral in offshore installations since 2000. Dale, based in Scarborough and backed by NVM Private Equity, is aiming to extend its influence in the critical power and offshore oil and gas sectors while committing to the Scottish market. The acquisition allows Calibre's customers access to Dale's broader range of resources and products. Dale's CEO, Gavin Hepburn, emphasizes continued growth and opportunity across diverse sectors as part of this merger. At the same time, Laura Anisha Rana is committed to maintaining the business’s high-quality service and foundational values. NVM's COO Mauro Biagioni expressed strong support for this strategic growth phase for both companies, coinciding with Dale's 90th anniversary.
