The acquisition will see IK Partners take over from Horizon Capital as the primary shareholder, with Dains' management team also significantly reinvesting in the company. With this investment, IK aims to bolster Dains' strong organic growth, enhance operational capacities, and expedite its expansion through strategic partnerships with complementary firms in the region. Established in 1989, IK Partners has a track record of investing across the Benelux, DACH, France, Nordics, and the UK, with a portfolio that includes over 195 European firms and $17 billion in capital. The debt financing for the acquisition was advised by a team at Goodwin led by Hugh O'Sullivan.
