CSOB Secures Financing for Saxonie Solar Power Plant with Clifford Chance's Guidance

Clifford Chance has taken on the advisory role for Ceskoslovenska Obchodni Banka (CSOB) in the financing arrangement for the development and operation of the FVE Saxonie solar power plant. The plant, located in the Czech Republic's Usti Nad Labem Region near Most, has an installed capacity of approximately 49.9 megawatt-peak. Originally developed by Sev.en Inntech, it was later acquired by a joint venture between KGAL and Micronix. Construction is slated to begin in April 2025, with Micronix overseeing the project's development. Key personnel from Clifford Chance involved in this advisory include Managing Partner Milos Felgr, Counsel Dominik Vojta, Associates Tomas Kubala and Ondrej Dolensky, and Junior Lawyers Simon Pavlas and Radek Sikora.
