Create Worlds Unveiled from Wonderland and Robot Invader Union

Wonderland and Robot Invader have announced a merger, forming a new company called Create Worlds. This venture combines Wonderland's Engine and Robot Invader's Story Machine to provide a suite of tools aimed at web game developers. Create Worlds aims to make web gaming development more accessible by eliminating common bottlenecks. The previous collaboration between the two companies includes the successful porting of the VR game Dead Secret Circle Web to the web. Create Worlds is currently working on new projects, such as a web version of the puzzle game Rise of the Blobs. Jonathan Hale, the founder of Wonderland, is now the CEO of Create Worlds. He emphasizes the web's potential to drive momentum for Robot Invader's game portfolio and augment developer tools. Hale highlights advantages like optimized performance and streamlined workflows that promise to improve efficiency compared to existing solutions like Unity Web. He also underscored the growing relevance of web gaming, as significant platforms now integrate web gaming capabilities. With lower user acquisition costs and narrowing performance gaps with native games, web gaming is poised to grow rapidly.
