Compass Lexecon appoints Mary Coleman as head of US antitrust practice

Compass Lexecon, a subsidiary of FTI Consulting, has announced the appointment of Mary Coleman, PhD, as the new head of their US antitrust practice. Coleman, based in Boston, will oversee antitrust-related activities in this newly established role across all US offices. Compass Lexecon, acquired by FTI Consulting in 2003, specializes in providing expert witness testimony, economic analysis, and litigation services to a variety of clients, including law firms, corporations, and government bodies. Mary Coleman has been with Compass Lexecon since 2009 and is an executive vice president with notable experience in competitive analysis concerning mergers, acquisitions, and antitrust litigation. Her previous roles include managing director at LECG and deputy director of antitrust at the FTC’s Bureau of Economics, where she contributed to investigations of mergers, monopolization, and other antitrust issues. Coleman holds a PhD in economics from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree from Stonehill College. She expressed enthusiasm in her new role, aiming to provide expert economic analysis and guidance on complex competition matters against a backdrop of changing regulations.
