Paxlegal has announced its advisory role in the transition of management at Colombos Resort in Porto Santo, a luxury hotel previously under the Pestana Hotel Group, now transitioning to an international group starting July. Originally developed by Siram SGPS through SITCB, the resort faced construction halts in 2009 due to financial issues, after an initial investment of 120 million. The project was rekindled by ECS Capital in 2012, investing an additional 10 million. The transaction was agreed upon with property owner Caixa Geral de Depósitos.
