CiviSmart Establishes Itself as PATRIZIA's Key to Italy’s Smart City Future

PATRIZIA, a global investment manager, has announced the launch of CiviSmart, a new consolidated entity in Italy's smart urban infrastructure sector. CiviSmart combines three acquired companies, Ottima, Selettra, and Atlantico, into a cohesive smart public lighting platform managing over 380,000 light points in Italy. This move is a key development for PATRIZIA’s Smart City Infrastructure Fund (SCIF), which has been investing in Italian urban infrastructure since 2022. CiviSmart aims to support Italy’s energy transition and urban digitalisation goals by integrating smart city solutions such as traffic management, IoT services, and energy-efficient infrastructure. Riccardo Amoroso has been appointed as CEO to lead its growth. The company is positioned to be a crucial partner for municipalities in Italy, enhancing quality of life with intelligent technologies and sustainable solutions.
