EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants has enhanced its private client offerings by acquiring Chartwell Insurance Services, a Chicago-based firm specializing in personal property and liability solutions for affluent individuals and families. This acquisition not only augments EPIC's specialized services but also bolsters its presence in the US Midwest. Chartwell, founded and led by Rebecca Korach Woan, is recognized for its tailored and high-quality services across fine art, jewellery, vintage cars, as well as comprehensive coverage solutions for residences, automobiles, and yachts. By merging with EPIC, Chartwell retains its boutique service level while tapping into EPIC's larger national resources and expertise. Kevin Daley, President of EPIC's Private Client division, indicated that the acquisition aligns with their commitment to tailor solutions and provide expert guidance, a sentiment echoed by Rebecca Korach Woan. This acquisition follows EPIC's 2024 integration of Phillips Bros. Insurance Agency, further highlighting their strategic growth in this sector.
