Grant Thornton has advised on the sale of Chapanor, a Vitoria-Gasteiz-based company, to Eper Metallic Solutions, a Navarra-based group known for its high-added-value metallic solutions. This marks the fourth acquisition by Eper since Stellum Growth and Amixalan joined its capital in 2023 as part of Eper's industrial expansion strategy. Chapanor, with over 25 years of experience in metal structures and components, is a national leader in metal precision for the railway sector, with additional presence in automotive, aeronautics, food, and equipment industries. Eper aims to enhance its railway sector presence and integrate Chapanor while maintaining its current management and tapping into existing operational synergies. Grant Thornton acted as the exclusive advisor for the sellers, with a team led by partner Jorge Tarancón, supported by key team members Ana Novoa, Abel Ortiz De Zárate, Rubén Polo Sánchez, and Manuel López Arias.
