Basel-based startup CGC Genomics Consults has successfully completed a pre-seed financing round, securing approximately EUR 1.7 million with the assistance of law firm Kellerhals Carrard. The financing was led by a consortium of impact and health-tech investors, including Heal Capital, Becker Ventures, Springboard Health Angels, Superangels, and better ventures. This financing will enable CGC Genomics Consults to finalize its clinical validation and prepare for market entry, with plans to launch its GenAI platform Qnomx internationally. The Kellerhals Carrard legal team was led by partners Umberto Milano and Karim Maizar, along with associate Simon Gluch and paralegal Lisa Schmid.
