Catella Real Estate AG (CREAG), a Munich-based private equity firm, has successfully expanded its logistics portfolio by acquiring a set of three cross-dock logistics properties in Germany for its 'Catella Logistik Deutschland Plus' special fund. These properties, located in Nuremberg, Mainz, and Iserlohn, cover a total area of 15,163 m² and are equipped to cater to logistics needs with parking spaces for lorries, vans, and cars. Acquired from a DWS real estate fund, the buildings were constructed in 2016 and are currently leased to Deutsche Post. The properties function as essential last-mile cross-dock sorting and delivery bases, underscoring Catella’s strategic investment into logistics infrastructure pivotal for modern supply chains.
