Catella Investment Management GmbH (CIM), part of the Stockholm-based Catella Group, has acquired 35 new-build apartments in Bamberg, Germany, from Instone Real Estate Development GmbH. This acquisition is part of CIM's strategy to capitalize on selective residential investment opportunities in Germany, despite challenging market conditions. The newly acquired apartments meet ESG requirements and are part of the Lagarde 8 residential project, situated within the emerging Lagarde-Campus district. Instone Real Estate is concurrently developing 57 owner-occupied apartments nearby, creating a mixed-value neighborhood. The district features advanced energy solutions, including a heating network 4.0 to lower CO2 emissions. With assets under management of around EUR 10 billion, CIM continues to expand its presence, focusing on residential, mixed-use, parking, and logistics properties across 15 European countries.
