Carrefour is set to enter the Indian market through a new franchise agreement with Apparel Group, advised by Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP (BCLP). This partnership will enable Apparel Group to open and operate Carrefour-branded food retail stores starting in Delhi NCR and northern India, with plans to expand rapidly across India over the next three years. This move aligns with Carrefour's strategic plan to penetrate ten new countries by 2026.
