Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services, has announced its acquisition of Italian company Contec AQS and its subsidiaries, Exenet and PMPI. This acquisition is part of Bureau Veritas' LEAP I 28 strategy aimed at bolstering its leadership in the building and infrastructure sector. The acquisition will enable Bureau Veritas to expand its presence in Italy, providing comprehensive solutions covering the entire lifecycle of assets, thereby making buildings and infrastructures safer, sustainable, and resilient. Contec AQS and its subsidiaries are established brands in Italy delivering complete services with expertise in construction, infrastructure, health, safety, and environment (HSE). The company employs approximately 190 experts and is projected to generate revenue of nearly 30 million euros in 2024.
