BTX Precision, a Chicago-based firm, has successfully acquired a family of precision component manufacturing and processing companies owned by the Machathil Family in San Jose, California. The acquisition includes A-1 Jay's Machining, A-1 Jay's Sheet Metal, Inotech Laser Processing, Bay Area Grinding, and Silicon Valley Precision Cleaning. Jensen Machathil will lead the business as a Business Unit President, while the founder, James Machathil, will assume an advisory and investor role in BTX Precision. Under BTX ownership, these entities plan to merge into a single brand, A1J Technologies, to streamline operations and enhance service delivery. This acquisition marks BTX Precision's fifth since its inception in 2023, significantly augmenting its prowess in precision manufacturing.
