Bonsai Robotics Secures $15 Million in Series A Funding to Enhance Physical AI Solutions for Agriculture

Bonsai Robotics, a company known for its advancements in physical AI solutions tailored for agriculture applications, has successfully raised $15 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Bison Ventures with participation from Cibus Capital and existing investors including Acre Venture Partners, Congruent Ventures, and others. This funding will enable Bonsai to expand its AI platform capabilities, enhance partnerships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and quicken its commercialization efforts. With its Visionsteer technology, Bonsai provides orchard growers with essential data insights, crop analysis, and autonomous vehicle control, and has already deployed over 40 units in the U.S. and Australia. The company focuses on key agricultural challenges such as climate change, food security, and labor shortages. Bonsai's approach has the potential to significantly impact specialty crop growth, providing sustainable solutions for the agriculture sector.
