Bodo Möller Chemie Enters Talks for Rocktin Acquisition

Bodo Möller Chemie Group has initiated exclusive acquisition talks with Rocktin, targeting the latter's distribution operations to enhance its strategic growth in the Asia-Pacific region. This move supports Bodo Möller's goal of establishing itself as a major player in the specialty chemical distribution market in Asia. By integrating Rocktin's distribution activities, Bodo Möller Chemie aims to expand its product offerings and strengthen partnerships with key industry players. The acquisition will also provide Rocktin's customers access to Bodo Möller's global network and advanced laboratory facilities in Shanghai. The planned transaction is set to be finalized by the second quarter of 2025, dependent on achieving regulatory approval. Upon completion, the combined entity expects revenues exceeding USD 100 million and a solidified presence in Asian markets, including China and Vietnam.
