Blake Mill, an online fashion brand based in Manchester, has been successfully acquired by Createx Holdings after entering administration. Founded in 2018 by Steve French, Ken Price, and Ross French, Blake Mill had initially gained traction with innovative shirt designs and high-profile appointments, such as Anthony Cuthbertson, formerly of Ted Baker. Despite securing a listing with John Lewis, the company faced financial difficulties leading to its administration last month. Leonard Curtis was appointed as the administrator, with Hilary Pascoe and Andrew Poxon leading the efforts in brokering the acquisition deal. Createx Holdings, guided by strategic plans, aims to reinforce Blake Mill's market position while ensuring business continuity and maintaining quality commitment. The deal also ensures the transfer of three employees under the new ownership, preserving some elements of the original team.
