Binetti Expands Under Capmont's Majority Stake Strategy

Capmont Private Equity has acquired a majority stake in Binetti Cablaggi, a well-established Italian company specializing in designing and manufacturing wiring and cabling for electrical and electronic systems. The acquisition is part of Capmont's strategy to develop a leading platform for cabling in Europe by accelerating organic growth, professionalizing the Binetti organization, and proceeding with further acquisitions. Binetti, based in Pian Camuno, Italy, employs around 400 people and offers tailored, reliable solutions primarily in non-automotive sectors. Significantly, Binetti's expansion strategy includes growth in the German market, expanding capacities across Europe, and potential entry into the US market due to existing certifications. The selling shareholders, Almici and Saloni, retain a substantial shareholding and will continue supporting Binetti's growth alongside Capmont. The acquisition also includes Haas Kabeltechnik and Neugebauer Group, enhancing Capmont’s Italian portfolio, which includes firms like Pinsami and Archimede of the Iconia Group. Furthermore, LMCR served as Capmont's legal advisor, while Bper's M&A team provided financial advisory services to the sellers of Binetti.
