Bigtincan Holdings Privately Acquired by Vector Capital

Vector Capital Management, a private equity firm based in San Francisco, has completed its acquisition of Bigtincan Holdings Limited, an Australian company specializing in AI-driven revenue enablement technology. The all-cash transaction was valued at A$183 million, with Bigtincan's shares being delisted from the Australian Securities Exchange as part of moving to a privately held status. Rob Amen, Managing Director at Vector Capital, expressed excitement over Bigtincan’s unique platform capabilities and future growth prospects, particularly with the increasing demand for AI and automated customer experiences. David Keane, CEO of Bigtincan, also noted the strategic potential of this deal to accelerate the development of their AI solutions suite. The acquisition positions Bigtincan firmly into Vector's portfolio, with emphasis on fostering growth and enhancing market strategies.
