Bardo Raises €3 Million to Advance Carbon Intelligence Platform

Cherry Ventures GmbH, Europe's leading early-stage venture capital firm, has invested €3 million in Bardo to support the expansion of its team and the development of its pioneering carbon intelligence platform. Stockholm-based Bardo aims to accelerate global decarbonization by introducing this innovative platform, which blends cutting-edge AI with deep data insights to transform the way companies manage their carbon footprints. The investment by Cherry Ventures will provide Bardo with access to a broad customer base in Germany and across Europe, as well as follow-on investors globally. This funding aligns Bardo with a cap table that includes the industrial impact scale-up Stegra and Nordic angel investors, all of whom are supportive of the company's vision to guide the world towards net zero emissions. Cherry Ventures' decision to back Bardo was driven by the strength of Bardo's leadership and their commitment to creating a new category in carbon intelligence, as expressed by Sophia Bendz, a General Partner at Cherry Ventures.
