Baker Hughes has announced a significant contract win to supply a modularized liquefied natural gas (LNG) system and power infrastructure for Venture Global's LNG projects in the United States. This includes a multi-year frame service agreement encompassing maintenance and engineering support for the Plaquemines LNG project in Louisiana. Lorenzo Simonelli, CEO of Baker Hughes, emphasized their longstanding role in natural gas operations and the importance of industry collaboration for sustainable energy development. Venture Global, under the leadership of CEO Mike Sabel, has recently shipped its inaugural LNG cargo from the Plaquemines facility, further strengthening its partnership with Baker Hughes, which already supports more than 100 million tons of production capacity annually.
