Azimut and Electa Ventures have announced the launch of Yhox II, the second iteration of their investment fund, designed to support new and promising private equity teams. Known as AZ Yhox II, it integrates the expertise of both young and seasoned professionals, referred to as 'young horses' and 'old foxes.' As reported by Milano Finanza, the fund has raised €50 million to date, with a target of exceeding €100 million. The fund is managed by key figures from Electa Ventures including founder Simone Strocchi and partners Daniela Deghi, Luca Magliano, and Angela Oggioni. The original Yhox fund completed 21 investments and co-investments in two years, focusing 60% on Italy and 40% abroad, encompassing Europe and the USA. Yhox II, following a similar model, aims to make direct investments and co-investments as well as invest in other private equity funds.
