Axpo Polska, advised by the law firm CMS, has acquired a biogas plant in Stare Slepce, located in the West Pomerania region of Poland. This plant, operational since 2020, annually processes approximately 20,000 tons of agricultural waste to produce 6,640 megawatt-hours of green electricity as well as carbon-free organic fertilizer for local agricultural use. This acquisition aligns with Axpo Group's strategic initiative to introduce more green gas into European energy markets.
