Awqaf Dubai Partners with Lulu Retail for New Retail Projects

The Endowment and Minors Trust Foundation (Awqaf Dubai) has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lulu Retail Holdings to establish a series of hypermarkets and supermarkets across Dubai. The agreement, signed by key figures from both organizations, aims to enhance the retail experience in Dubai and contribute to Awqaf's social and economic goals. Lulu Retail, a leading retailer in the GCC region, will assist in developing shopping facilities that will serve residents and visitors. The first hypermarket is scheduled to open in Khawaneej-2 by mid-year. The partnership will see Lulu expanding its footprint in Dubai, affirming its commitment to the city's retail sector and aligning with Awqaf's mission of sustainable community development. Lulu Retail, known for its large retail network with operations in over six GCC countries, is expanding with a growing e-commerce presence.
