Auto Trader Announces New Non-Executive Directors Amid Strategic Succession Planning

Auto Trader, the UK's largest automotive platform, has announced the appointment of Megan Quinn and Adam Jay as independent non-executive directors, effective from July 1, 2025. This move is part of Auto Trader's strategic long-term succession planning on the board. Megan Quinn, with a strong background in U.S. technology enterprises, will bring her extensive experience in product and operations management from prominent technology companies like Niantic Inc. and Google. Adam Jay, the CEO of Vinted and former Expedia executive, will contribute his deep expertise in digital marketplaces and eCommerce. Jay has held numerous non-executive roles, including with Despegar and Checkatrade.com. They will fill the positions of Jeni Mundy and Sigga Sigurdardottir, who are not seeking re-election after completing their terms in 2025. Matt Davies, chair of Auto Trader, emphasized the value and skill that Quinn and Jay will bring to the company's data and technology-driven strategy to enhance its marketplace business model.
