Announced on December 2, 2024, this transaction follows an earlier binding agreement signed in November 2024, after exclusive negotiations began in June. Worldgrid, which offers consulting and engineering services to energy and utility companies and employs around 1,100 people, generated approximately €170 million in revenue in 2023. This transaction is expected to reduce Atos' net debt by around €200 million, improving its financial leverage to about 1.7x by 2027. ALTEN, recognized for its IT and engineering expertise, is set to maintain service continuity for Worldgrid's clients and employees.
