ASSA ABLOY Acquires Pedestal PRO in Strategic Expansion

ASSA ABLOY, a global leader in access solutions, has announced the acquisition of Pedestal PRO, a US-based manufacturer known for its access control pedestals, bollards, and innovative mounting solutions. The acquisition aligns with ASSA ABLOY's strategy to enhance its presence in mature markets by integrating complementary products and solutions into its core business. According to ASSA ABLOY President and CEO Nico Delvaux, the acquisition of Pedestal PRO represents a significant step in strengthening the company's market position. Pedestal PRO, which was founded in 2002 and employs around 50 staff members, reported sales of approximately MUSD 11 for the year 2024, with a robust EBIT margin. The acquisition is expected to be accretive to ASSA ABLOY’s EPS from the outset. The company's office and manufacturing facilities are located in Lindon, Utah, USA.
