Arreba: Advisense Acquires German Specialist Consultancy Firm

Advisense, a leading pan-European consulting firm, has acquired Arreba Consulting, a German risk management and regulatory reporting specialist. Founded in 2016 and based in Munich, Arreba Consulting has approximately 35 staff and is dedicated to serving the financial services industry in areas such as regulatory reporting, IT project delivery, risk management, and test management. The acquisition will bolster Advisense's presence in Germany, an important market, by expanding their offerings in risk management and regulatory reporting both locally and globally. Advisense, headquartered in Sweden, is a major consultancy specializing in governance, risk, and compliance services for financial services. With 450 employees across 13 offices, the firm serves major banks, insurers, asset and wealth managers, and regulators. The acquisition of Arreba Consulting marks Advisense's second office in Germany, increasing their Risk Management team to 160 members and helping them deepen their position in Europe's second-largest financial services market. Advisense aims to become the top risk management advisory firm in Europe, and the acquisition of Arreba Consulting is a strategic move towards achieving this goal. Arreba Consulting's team, in turn, will benefit from working on larger, cross-border projects and advancing their expertise. The firm recently acquired Denmark-based CR Consulting, as it continues to grow its capabilities in risk management and credit processes.
