Armstrong International Acquires HygroTemp to Expand Humidity Solutions

Armstrong International, a leading provider of thermal energy solutions, has extended its reach in the European, Middle Eastern, and African markets through the acquisition of HygroTemp, a Dutch company specializing in humidity control solutions. HygroTemp, known for its collaboration with Armstrong since 2007, excels in promoting advanced humidification technologies, particularly in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, electronics, and data centers. The acquisition will see Rolf Bosscher, former owner and general manager of HygroTemp, integrate into Armstrong's European Humidification team, while Jean-François Frambot will assume the role of HygroTemp's general manager. This strategic move underscores Armstrong's commitment to sustainable technologies that enhance thermal energy efficiency and facilitate decarbonization. Devatec, a subsidiary of Armstrong, continues its role in manufacturing advanced humidification systems, including the EvaPack solution pivotal in this acquisition. Armstrong's acquisition strategy is aimed at reinforcing its market position in the Netherlands and expanding into other European markets driven by increasing demand for hygienic adiabatic humidification solutions.
