In a strategic acquisition move, Archiva srl, a Verona-based company specializing in document digitization and standard-compliant archiving services, acquired a 60% stake in Mitric srl. Mitric, an Independent Software Vendor with operations in Switzerland and Italy, was indirectly controlled by Siav. Archiva, backed by Progressio sgr's Progressio Investimenti IV fund, receives advisory support from Clearwater, which played a pivotal role in identifying and executing the acquisition. This acquisition marks a significant step in Archiva's ambitious growth path initiated in April 2024 with Progressio's investment. Archiva aims to enhance its offerings and strengthen partnerships with its customers by integrating Mitric's strategic tech competencies and solutions. The acquisition is designed to foster synergies and elevate Archiva's position in the market by leveraging Mitric's advanced solutions, like its Checker suite, which promises unprecedented control over quality, compliance, and security processes.
