Arcano Partners, a financial advisory firm, has been selected by the European Investment Bank (EIB) to manage €210 million from the Next Generation EU program. The funds will be channeled through the regulated vehicle Spanish Urban Development SICC (SUD) and invested in affordable rental housing, sustainable tourism, and urban development projects throughout Spain. The SUD is expected to carry out 11 to 15 operations with a maximum investment of up to €22 million per project. Investments will be structured in equity or debt depending on the needs of each initiative, and they must align with Spain's National Plan for Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience, meeting stringent sustainability and positive impact criteria.
