Arada, a leading UAE-based developer, has awarded a contract to Modern Building Contracting Company (MBCC) for the construction of the first phase of Arada Central Business District (CBD) in Sharjah, part of the expansive AED35 billion ($9.5 billion) Aljada megaproject. The AED604 million ($164 million) contract will initiate the development of eight smart blocks, including Arada's headquarters, which are expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2027.
