Aptean, a leading global provider of mission-critical enterprise software solutions, has announced the acquisition of Indigo Software Limited, which is known for its purpose-built warehouse management and logistics solutions. This acquisition aims to enhance Aptean's capabilities in warehouse management and supply chain offerings serving manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, retailers, and third-party logistics providers (3PLs). Indigo Software, founded in 1980 and headquartered in Durham, UK, provides an integrated platform that allows for real-time visibility and management from stock receipt to final dispatch. The platform's expertise spans various sectors, including food and beverage, fashion and apparel, automotive, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). This acquisition will enable Aptean to enhance its service offerings and expand its footprint. Indigo Software's CEO, Darren Baxter, expressed enthusiasm about joining Aptean, believing it will provide even greater support to their clients in optimizing warehouse operations.
